Welcome to our 72-Hour Driver Intervention Program. Our program is offered in full compliance with sections 1547.99 and 4511.19 of the Ohio Revised Code, addressing individuals convicted of operating a vehicle or watercraft under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This program is designed to provide vital education and support as you take steps toward recovery and legal compliance.

  • What topics are covered during the DIP?

    The DIP covers a range of topics related to impaired driving, including:
    - The legal and personal consequences of DUI/OVI offenses
    - The effects of alcohol and drugs on the brain and body
    - The impact of substance use on driving ability and decision-making
    - Tools for preventing relapse and avoiding future offenses

  • Is the program confidential?

    Yes, all information shared during the DIP is confidential. Our instructors are licensed professionals, and the program adheres to all federal and state confidentiality laws, including HIPAA.

  • Do I need to prepare anything before attending?

    Participants are required to bring a valid ID, and any personal items they may need for the duration of their stay. All other materials, such as educational handouts and resources, will be provided by the program.

  • What support is available after the program?

    Upon completion of the DIP, Family First Counseling Center offers counseling and therapy services for those interested in ongoing support. These services include individual therapy, substance abuse counseling, and relapse prevention programs to ensure long-term success.

  • How long does the program last?

    The program runs from Thursday through Sunday. Checking in at 6-PM on Thursday and checking out at 6-PM on Sunday.

  • What Happens After I Pay?

    Once your $100 deposit or full payment has been received, you will receive both an email and a text message containing a link to create your personal profile. Through this link, you will be able to complete all required forms and review the program policies and guidelines.

  • Will I have to stay at the hotel during the entire program?

    Yes, the 72-hour DIP is a residential program, meaning participants are required to stay at the facility throughout the duration. This ensures full participation and immersion in the educational activities.

  • What can I expect after completing the DIP?

    Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which can be submitted to the court to fulfill any legal requirements. Beyond that, participants leave with a better understanding of how to avoid impaired driving and access to additional resources if further support is needed.

  • How do I sign up for the Driver Intervention Program?

    Sighing up is simple. You can call us at (614) 368 -6311 or complete the " Once your registration is paid in full, you will receive additional information about what to expect and how to prepare for your program date.

  • What is the cost of the program?

    The cost of the DIP is as follows:
    - Single room $575
    - Shared room $360 (2 occupants)

    - All meals are included in the program price.

  • Do you have payment plan?

    You can reserve your spot in the program by completing the "save my spot" form and paying the $100 deposit. Important Notice Regarding Program Registration Deposit. So that you know, the $100 deposit is non-refundable. The $100 deposit does not guarantee a spot in the Driver Intervention Program until the full registration fee is paid. You will have 14 days from the time of deposit to complete your full payment. If the remaining balance is not paid within the 14-day period, your spot will be forfeited, and you may need to re-register for the program.

  • Can I Choose a Program Date Online?

    You can choose the date that works best for you in the registration form.  After you pay your deposit, a Program Coordinator will contact you directly to review and confirm availability.

  • How to Pay the Remainder of Your Registration Fee?

    After paying the $100 deposit, the remainder of your registration fee must be paid within 14 days. To complete your payment, please call our office at (614) 368-6311. A member of our team will assist you with processing your payment and finalizing your registration.
